Marine Gardens Bowling Club, report w/ending Sunday, 26th June 2022.
(June 26, 2022)Another challenging week of bowls found Marine Gardens Bowling Club playing at home in the West Sussex Bowls league against Bognor B and a friendly against Rottingdean.
The week commenced with another round of the club internal Triples League, a popular competition within the club, having reached the halfway point there are signs of teams pushing to the fore, the Kestrels on 77 points, Falcons 73 points and the Magpies 70 points with other teams in the points chase.
Wednesday, Marine Gardens played host to Bognor B in a three rink West Sussex League match, this was a close-run game with some great bowling and high scores . Bognor B taking the match.

Thursday was a friendly against Rottingdean, this was to have been a five-rink match, unfortunately, Rottingdean had a fixture clash and could only field twelve bowlers, some disappointed Marine Gardens players not getting to play.
