Marine Gardens Bowling Club – report for w/e Saturday 17/07/2021
(July 17, 2021)The summer has returned, and just in time for a busy week of bowls at Marine Gardens.
Wednesday saw Marine host Pavilion for a three 3 Rink Stracey Shield match.
It was played on a somewhat inconsistent green where the host team won two of the three rinks.
It was a closely contested game, the final shot count in favour of Pavilion 48 -52.

Thursday Marine played host to Bognor B for a West Sussex Bowls League match.
This again was a close-run match, both sides scoring 65 shots,
but the host team won three of the four rinks, taking 7 points.
Lots of great bowling by both teams, and a good result for Marine.
