Marine gardens Bowling Club - report w/ending 8th May 2022
(May 08, 2022)This week Marine Garden saw the start of their Tuesday morning Triples league competition, a keenly and competitively fought challenge, which runs throughout the season. Good luck to all taking part.
Wednesday, Marine hosted Storrington Bowling Club in a four-rink friendly.
Rink - 1 Skip J Gray, A Patterson and B Cuckow going into the last end 13 - 15 down, securing six shots to win 19 -15.
Rink - 2 Skip D Martin, J Nettleingham and R Parrish 16 - 19.
Rink - 3 Skip R Gore, A Neale, and T Ashley 17 - 13.
Rink - 4 Skip N Deegan, A Marsella and G Vernau with a runaway score of 28 – 9.
Marine Gardens winning, 80 shots - Storrington 56 shots.
Thursday, Marine played Arundel Bowling Club in a friendly.
Rink 1 - Skip J Gray, P Chambers, J Nettleingham and D Smith 27 -10.
Rink 2 - Skip T Baldwin, S Fenton, L Godsmark and A Leatham 17 -19.
Rink 3 - Skip M Hitchin, L Bradley, J Dorkings and J Ashman 16 -19.
Rink 4 - Skip B Harrison, T Hennings, J Stratton and A Marsella 17 -14.
Marine Gardens winning, 77 shots - Arundel 62 shots.
Friday, Marine made the trip across town to Worthing Pavilion for a Brody Tray Match.

Rink 2 - Skip I Godsmark and P Chambers 17 - 18.
Rink 3 - B Cole, A Leatham and W Wilson 10 - 25.
